SCIENTIFIC AND TECHNICAL CONFERENCE HELD WITHIN THE SCOPE OF THE AUTOSTRADA-POLSKA TRADE FAIR

XIV Scientific and Technical Conference held as part of AUTOSTRADA- POLSKA 2019

This is already the 14th edition of the Scientific and Technical Conference organized by the  Association of Transport Technicians and Engineers  RP Branch in Kielce, the  General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways Branch in Kielce and Kielce University of Technology.  

The official opening speech was delivwered by Wojciech Rybak, President of the Kielce Branch of the Association of Transport Technicians and Engineers. 

"I would like to express my thanks to the organisers International Fair of Road Construction Industry AUTOSTRADA-POLSKA - for cooperation, for the quality of the trade show. The expo enriches this region. This, combined with the fact that Targi Kielce stands out with among the Europe’s companies in this industry thanks to its supreme quality. This sets the great development example.  The conferences held during the trade fair have much to offer - in terms of knowledge and the implementation of the strategy of our region." -  - such congratulations on the occasion of the 25th expo anniversary and thanks for cooperation were expressed by Wojciech Rybak in the presence of Bożena Staniak, Vice President of Targi Kielce. Then the substantive part of the conference followed.

The inaugural lecture was given by Krzytof Nalewajko from GDDKiA - the Warsaw Branch, - it focussed on "200 years of road administration." This historical accent allowed the listeners to reflect on how today's automation streamlines all the activities of this difficult industry.

The next speech was a joint paper by Marek Iwański, Przemysław Buczyński and Grzegorz Mazurek - representatives of the Kielce University of Technology, who talked about "Optimizing the composition of the innovative binder in the aspect of recycled foundation properties with foamed bitumen".  

The conference participants had also the chance to listen about mineral-asphalt mixtures with the addition of hydrotyzed lime, cutting edge subgrade research guidelines, about modern asphalt pavements on voivodeship roads.

• Damian Urbanowski Director of the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship Roads Administration,
• Wiesława Sobańska - the Świętokrzyskie District Chamber of Civil Engineers in Kielce and
• Andrzej Pawelec also from the Świętokrzyskie District Chamber of Civil Engineers in Kielce.

Honorary patronage for the Science and Technology Conference accompanying the AUTOSTRADA POLSKA was granted by:

• Agata Wojtyszek, Świętokrzyskie Voivode
• Mayor of the City of Kielce - Bogdan Wenta 

The conference is held for the fourteenth time in Targi Kielce as a part of the Road Construction Fair. The seminar was Andrzej Rybak’s initiative.
