This discipline is still rare in our country. The easiest way to describe it needs a reference to skateboaring combined with surfing. Unlike surfing, skimboard- riding begins on the beach. A skimboarder stands at the shore, keeps the board in the hands waiting for a wave. When a wave approaches, a skimboarder runs toward water. Then drops the board onto the thin wash remains when the tide recedes or onto tide-opposite breaking wave.  Then they jump both-feet onto board and slides on trying to keep on water surface as long as possible.  A skimboarder can return to shore or use the next wave for various tricks.  On the shallow, inland waters a skimboarder can perform tricks similar to skateboarding, also with the use of rails.

Join the consecutive edition of the International Sport and Outdoor Equipment Fair KIELCE SPORT EXPO 2016 and see the skimboard performances put on show by SEVENTYONE.  We are looking forwards to seeing you at Targi Kielce's  from 11 to 13 February.
