The METAL fairs and the ALUMINIUM & NONFERMET as well as CONTROL-TECH fairs which are held simultaneously provide much more than just a chance to present the companies’ offer to an extensive group of potential clients or become familiar with the novelties put on display at the exhibition stand. In order to meet the demands and needs expressed by the exhibitors, clients and trade fair visitors, the trade fairs organisers create the possibility for experience exchange as well as to take part in specialised conferences, workshops and trainings as well as business insiders’ meetings. This year’s holiday of foundry engineering in Targi Kielce has been supplemented with a number of truly interesting events.
International Conference on Solidification and Crystallisation of Metals – 2011 , organised by the Association of Silesian University Graduates – the Foundry Engineering Club in conjunction with Foundry Department at the Mechanical and Technological College of Silesian University of Technology which is responsible for scientific and organisational support. The event commences on 27th September and lasts 3 days. The conference has been organised for 16 years and has become and integral part of the METAL fair.
TEROTECHNOLOGIA 2011 – another very important point in the conference programme. It starts with a plenary session on 29th September which encompasses, inter alia, the following presentations: Production technology synergism and operational durability of aerologic tool systems and Laser texturing of machine parts – improvement of operational qualities – selected examples.
And the Foundry Chamber of Commerce invites the participants to take part in the conference the European Agreement on Workers' Health Protection of workers against the risks connected to handling of crystalline silica in foundry branch held in conjunction and support of the European Commission. During the meeting the specialists will provide answers to the questions regarding harmfulness of silica, implementation of the solutions provided by Good Practice Guide and how the on-line rapport should be filled out as in a few months’ time the report will be obligatory for each casting house.
