STAGE VERSION OF THE "BORYNA'S WEDDING" AT TARGI KIELCE'S 2017'S AGROTRAVEL

The stage-performance presented at the AGROTRAVEL 2017 was a faithful reproduction of a wedding described in the novel by Władysław Reymont.  The stage performance allows to delve into the old, Polish countryside customs.  The show is even more attractive owing to colourful folk costumes, songs, dances and folk jargon. 

The Local Action Group- Włoszczowa Region has taken part in the Kielce AGROTRAVEL  for the second time.  This year they also stage a regional wedding, divided into four parts:Match-making, Handfasting, Maciej and Jagna's Weddings and the Home-bound Farewell.

- The idea to stage the novel-based scenes marks the 150th anniversary of the Władysław Reymont's birth celebrated this year.  We have resolved to commemorate the eminent writer by making Targi Kielce audience more familiar with "The Peasants"  and this way to invite them to the village of Kobiele Wielkie to join gala celebrations in memory of Reymont Cezary Huć, Vice-President of the Local Action Group BoardWłoszczowa Region adds  -In addition to theatrical performance of "Boryna's Wedding", our expo stand offers the opportunity to taste meat products and cakes, see felt-made handicrafts.

The 9th International Fair of Rural and Agricultural Tourism staged in Targi Kielce is the meetings platform that brings together entrepreneurs and potential business partners. Thus this is is an excellent opportunity to develop branded and networked rural-tourism products.
