March 15 marked the beginning of applications submission to ARiMR for 2016's subsidies.  Farmers who submit their applications before 16 May can count on subsidies in due amount. Late-comers who have not submitted an application before this deadline will have more chances to - June 10. For each working day of delay the due payments will be reduced by 1%. These and other EU subsidies related issues will be presented by the experts at the Kielce's Agrotech. And there is much to discuss.

For the first time since 2011, farmers have a chance to apply for EU subsidies to buy machines and equipment. The scheme's objective is farm modernisation. The application submission period - March 31 until April 29.The programme offers record-breaking amounts - 2.4 billion Euro in total!

- Last call for applications for subsidies under the "Modernisation of agricultural holdings" measure of the RDP 2007-2013 ended on 23 April 2013; farmers received financial aid for machine and equipment for agricultural production.  - informs Jolanta Duchnik, Deputy Director of the Operations Investment Department at the Agency for Restructuring and Modernisation of Agriculture. - The measure was effective in the following provinces - Lublin, Lubuskie, Lodz, Malopolska, Opole, Pomerania, Wielkopolska and West Pomerania. The new call for application for agricultural holdings modernization within the framework of RDP 2014-2020 will be carried out from 31 March to 29 April. - she added.

The record-breaking subsidies which may be used for new tractors and farm machinery purchase has become a prod for the industry; companies try to outstrip each other in the number of premières and product launches. This can be seen at agricultural technology trade expo - Kielce's Agrotech which start on March 18; the expo halls are already bursting at the seams. Subsidies for new equipment provide an impulse for farmers too. Agency expects that farmers will demonstrate an interest.
