Technological Forum of the German Association of Machine and Equipment Construction (VDMA)

The VDMA Technology Forum is targeted at all those interested in the latest trends and solutions in subtractive machining tools, gripping elements and measuring technologies.  Various companies’ specialists will deliver 15-minute lectures on the specific implementation of new ideas and solutions. The forum comprises of thematic blocks focused on technologies for the automotive industry, machines and tools construction, space and medical technology.

WorldSkills

Competition between technical talents at AMB: German champions sought among young metal cutters.  Before the world championships of WorldSkills in Kazan 2019, this is the German qualifying round for  championships of the WorldSkills Germany vocational competitions The German professional skills championship "WorldSkills Germany" will be carried out as part of the AMB expo in the following disciplines: CNC lathes, CNC milling machines and (for the first time this year) polimechanics.

"Sonderschau Jugend" - special shows for young people

Stimulation of young people's interest in technology and the recruitment of young specialists to work in the German’s machine tool industry is the goal of a special show tergeted at young people .This is organized by the Nachwuchsstiftung Maschinenbau foundation (“nursery” for the machine building industry). The main attraction catered for young people and all those who call in the expo section is the presentation of the Formula 1 car model production chain and assembly. There is ans extra option - you can take one vehicle home.
