TARGI KIELCE FOR SAFETY

The second day of the 22nd MSPO is marked with a very important seminar which addresses the issues we are all directly affected. The seminar   The Development of the Producers’ Technology Platform  for Chemical Safety and Security and the application of the dual use technologies and equipment in strengthening  under the honorary patronage of   Janusz Piechociński,    Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Economy   is organized by the organized by the International Centre for Chemical Safety based in Warsaw and the Polish Defensive Holding,   in conjunction with   the Cluster for Rescue, Safety, Civil and Environment Protection.

 

The seminar   has been designed is to demonstrate the potential of Polish units and fields of cooperation with international partners in the area of chemical safety on a national and   international arena with the objective of chemical safety development. An important objective of the seminar is to develop   the Platform   and   cooperation between Polish and foreign partners for creation and implementation of effective solutions for chemical safety and   the utilisation of dual-use technology and equipment for safety enhancement .  The seminar will also be instrumental for development and promotion of Polish specialization in the area of chemical safety.

 

The seminar will be presented concrete proposals to improve chemical safety, environmental protection, protection of critical infrastructure, as well as international cooperation, including     "Local Responsibility in Chemical Safety" program, initiative for integrated chemical safety in Ukraine, an organization of the first global meeting on chemical safety in Poland and world exhibition dedicated to the safety of the chemical.

 

Important cooperation agreement

The seminar will conclude in signing of the two important agreements on cooperation in promotion of the broadly defined security - -cooperation agreements' parties: Targi Kielce and the Polish Security Forum Foundation and between Targi Kielce and the International Centre for Chemical Safety and Security.

Andrzej Mochoń, Targi Kielce President of the Management Board explains: Inclusion and utilisation of the   exhibition and expo-conference potentials into cooperation between domestic and foreign partners is important for fostering security development in the production, infrastructure, supply-reception chain, energy carriers domain, both on a national as well as regional and global scale. Targi Kielce   offer its potential in  chemical safety culture promotion, dissemination of best technical solutions and best practices, trainings organisation, creation of favourable conditions for international cooperation that enhances development of Poland's specialization in chemical safety.

In conjunction with the International Centre for Chemical Safety and Security Targi Kielce will take the actions   to develop exhibitions and expos and conferences targeted at fostering security development in the production, infrastructure, supply-reception chain, energy carriers domain, both on a national as well as regional and global scale. Within the framework of expo and conference activities Targi Kielce   will disseminate best technical solutions and best practices, hold national and international trainings. The responsibility Targi Kielce assumes is  an active promotion and fostering of cooperation for dissemination of knowledge on chemical safety issues among all stakeholders, with a particular emphasis on government administration, industry, scientific milieus, the general public and civic society.

 

Poland's first   think tank   of its kind

Another cooperation agreements is signed with  the Polish Security Forum Foundation (PFB).  The Forum is Poland's first non-governmental study centre; its formula allows for full independence. The Forum focuses on broadly defined security issues.

PFB's mission is to support institutions which deal in analyses and forecasts, agencies, departments responsible for the security the country and its people. PFB also supports companies which produce this kind of equipment and facilities. The Foundation's objective is also to build a platform for observations, concepts and ideas exchange, to inspire and animate the discussion on the issues related to PFB's business activities.

Cooperation with the Foundation is very much in line with the   Targi Kielce Congress Centre's business profile as this is the venue for discussions on safety issues in a broad sense.
