What is Złombol and what does Targi Kielce have to do with it? Złombol is an extreme road trip in vehicles made or designed during the communist time. The event objective is to rise funds for the benefit of Silesia region orphanages. The cost of the vehicle, without the preparation repair is about 1,000 PLN. Until now the participants have already been heading from Katowice to Monaco, the Arctic Circle, Asia or the famous Loch Ness. The idea behind Złombol is to show that despite the difficulties you face along the way, you can still do something truly exceptional for other people.

This year’s Złombol edition is heading Nordkapp – a rocky cape in Norway. 140 cars hit the road, 109 reached the finish line. And among the conquerors there was Targi Kielce staff member Piotr Odziemek and his team Do Odcinki. They joined the extreme escapade for the second time. Złombol is an extraordinary journey to a grand purpose; however this is also an extreme expedition – you cannot count on the organisers’ support. Participants, on their own are to face adversities of all kinds. Congratulations to all the participants for their fortitude and remarkable courage.
