TARGI KIELCE HOSTS THE 3RD NATIONAL CONFERENCE - "VETERINARY MEDICINE FOR BEEKEEPING"

For the third time this important apiculture meeting was held under the banner of "Veterinary aspects of responsible apiculture in Poland"

The conference, following previous years' example has brought together a wide range of beekeeping experts and authorities and a large groupPolish beekeepers.

The inaugural speech of the Nationwide Conference was delivered by Bogdan Konopka, Świętokrzyskie Province's Veterinary Officer .  The guests of honour have also granted the conference with  the patronage. The welcome speeches and addresses opened the beekeeping session. Agata Wojtyszek, the Świętokrzyskie Voivode,Krzysztof Jurgiel, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development and Paweł Niemczuk, Chief Veterinary Officer welcomed the participants.

The topics discussed in the conference focused mainly on  combating the warroois, the two-year bee-hive  cycles and winter-related problems in bee-keeping.  The experienced beekeeping experts who boast extensive know-how delivered presentations.  The six presentations related to many important issues. The important questions were asked and the conference milieus were  looking for reliable answers.  The Veterinary aspects of responsible apiculture in Poland conference was held in Targi Kielce. There was no doubt a comprehensive vademecum for people seeking guidance and information to use to work in their own apiary.

The meeting concluded in the professionals debate which also served as the event wrap-up.

 The event was organised by:  Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship Veterinary Officer in Kielce, VET-ANIMAL, Polish Beekeeping Association, Polish Society of Veterinary Sciences - Świętokrzyskie Division, Świętokrzyskie Chamber of Veterinary Medicine,the Beekeepers Association in Kielce.

The 3rd National Conference of the Veterinary Medicine for Beekeepinggave its participants a chance to network with a number of professionals and the opportunity to participate in meaningful discussions. This has thus been a knowledge source for Polishbeekeeping.
