The Armed Forces soldiers and the Kielce exhibition and congress centre's employees do push-ups before the International Defence Industry Exhibition commences. Not only is this the herald of Central - Eastern Europe's most important and biggest defense trade-show, this is also a noble act
"22 Challenge" is an online challenge. Its aim is to raise general public's awareness regarding veterans who commit suicide. Right before the start of the International Defence Industry Exhibition Targi Kielce decided and the soldiers preparing the Armed Forces exhibition decided to join in the campaign.
After returning from missions, many soldiers suffer from PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder). According to Honor Courage Commitment research, as many as twenty-two foreign missions veterans commit suicide every day. "22 Pushup Challenge" is to make people aware how difficult and demanding is soldier's profession. In the challenge, however these not army-drill push-ups that really matter. What does count is the will to join in the campaign. To keep the pace with the soldiers, some ladies who work in Targi Kielce decided to do squats.
And although Targi Kielce has not been challenged, the staff decided to join in the campaign. To enlarge the initiative scope, the Targi Kielce now challenges Vive Tauron Kielce handball club.
The International Defence Industry Exhibition is Poland's largest defense industry exhibition and one of Europe's most significant business-sector's events. This year's MSPO will bring together a record-breaking number of 609 exhibitors whose offer will be presented on more than 27 thousand square meters of exhibition space. The expo is held from 6 to 9 September.
