Targi Kielce – the showcase for most beautiful pigeons

Winged exhibits on display this weekend in Targi Kielce

400 breeders will bring over 4000 most beautiful pigeons of 150 breeds. The National Exhibition of Young Pigeons and Small Livestock will be complemented with 250 chickens and 150 rabbits.

The Kielce event brings together breeders and hobbyists – these are true aficionados who have devoted their lives to bird rearing. Such exhibitions are the crowning points as they can put on display the results of their hard work and passion as well as proudly present their most successful specimens. The National Exhibition of Young Pigeons and Small Livestock encompasses the following smaller-size expositions:
  • Club exhibition of pigeons – the Brodawczak Polski (Polish Wattle) breed
  • Club exhibition of pigeons – the Niemiecki Wystawowy (Show German= breed
  • Club exhibition of pigeons – the Dolnośląski Biały Łapciaty (Lower Silesia White Spot) breed
  • Second Club exhibition of pigeons – the Krymka Polska breed
  • Club exhibition of pigeons – the Garłacz Pomorski (Pomeranian Cropper)breed
  • Club exhibition of pigeons – the Karzełek Łapciaty (Spot Midget) breed
  • Rabbit exhibition
There is one more important event – the International King Class Pigeon Contest. There are 21 breeders from Poland and Slovakia who have entered 174 runners. The jury panel is to select the International Champion. Another time the exhibition has brought together foreign participants – breeders form Czech Republic and Slovakia will put their pigeons on display at this year’s edition too.
