The final round of the extraordinary sport popularity contests will commence in a few hours’ time. The 60th, anniversary sport popularity contest will be crowned with the official laureate presentation – the most popular spots people and coaches selected in whole Swietokrzyskie Voivodeships as well as in Swietokrzyskie counties. The function will take place on 4th January 2012 at 17.30 in the E hall of Targi Kielce exhibition centre. The gala evening will host 500 people.

The greatest sports people of Swietokrzyskie and distinguished guests will add splendour to the event. The guests invited to attend the function represent the world of business and politics in addition to the sport people who have represented our country in the Olympic Games. The evening will bubble with excitement associated with the presentation of ten best sports people and three best coaches in Swietokrzyskie region as well as the Swietokrzyskie county laureates. And there is much more in store – the public will also be thrilled with the presentation of other annual awards. The contest chapter will award accolades for the 2011 Swietokrzyskie Sport Ambassador, Distinguished Swietokrzyskie Sport Activist, Swietokrzyskie Voivodeship Sport Hope and the 2011 Handicapped Sportsperson Award.

2 thousand square metres of red carpet, 1.2 thousand square metres of red and black fabric was used in order to convert the exhibition hall into a banquet-hall. The ball-room will host over 500 guests sitting at 150 tables. The 5-metre tall walls have been erected to mark the 2.5 thousand-square metre banquet area.
