Historical market stalls – a perfect chance to learn about customs and crafts 600 years ago

The HANDMADE Zone trade fair will be making its debut in Targi Kielce; the exhibition hall will be full of multicoloured stands. And among them there will be the stall which takes its visitors back in time. The Stokportu of Great Britain is the company which deals in historic handicraft and trade recreation; they will be joining the trade fair in order to put the historical market stalls on display. The items showcased at the stalls as well as the manner of presentation replicate the traditions which date 600 years back.

Not only do the items look like genuine historic objects, but also the craftsmen’s outfits are historically accurate. The costumes and the products are like relicts of the by-gone era so you can see exactly what they looked like in e.g. 15th century.

The team attends Poland’s, Frances and Britain’s most important events devoted to history such as knightly tournaments, middle-ages farmers’ markets as well as the most important event for all history recreation aficionados – the Battle of Grunwald. The village of Grunwald is the showcase for crafts people and products form all corners of the world.

Targi Kielce exhibition will encompass:
  • Brass and bronze decorations, replicas of court and manor house jewellery,
  • Handmade oil and herb soaps,
  • Ecological dried herbs to be used for herbal infusions and dishes.
Join us at this most unique exhibition stand of the event!
