February 21 to 23 is when Targi Kielce hosts the 9th International Fair of Toys and Products for Mother and Child KIDS' TIME, Central and Eastern Europe's largest exhibition and one of the world's most important child products and services business sector's events
A day before event's commencement, future parents had the chance to participate in exceptional workshops whose objective was to disseminate knowledge on child's safety and proper development.
Workshops forpregnant women held on 20 February at Targi Kielce as a part of the 9th International Fair of Toys and Products for Mother and Child KIDS' TIME were held under the auspices of Marko and Medikurs companies; the organiser of Safe Kids Campaign. The workshop's objective was to raise awareness among mothers as well as to help parents who care for their children's safe and healthy development. The Safe Kids Campaign's paramedics team demonstrated first air procedures for pregnant women. The "Keeping Children Safe While Travelling" workshop run by a specialist in car-devices for children followed. These were the main themes of the session. Experts paid a special attention to the appropriate seat belts fastening and a proper selection and assembly of car seats for children so that children are best protected against possible accident results. The future mothers will certainly find it useful to use the knowledge shared by Jolanta Sieczkowska, a midwife with many years of experience. The "There is Much More than Genes" panel focussed on pregnant women's well-being so as to minimize the risks of the child's possible diseases. An important topic was addressed by the Polish Stem Cells Bank - the umbilical cord blood banking. The umbilical cord blood and umbilical cord are secured, in the case of a disease children have the opportunity to use the stem cells for treatment and increase recovery chances. Apart from the theoretical part the workshops offered a whole range of practical advice. Future parentswere provided the special phantoms for hands-on experience - how to holdbaby in a proper way and what is the appropriate response and the first aid procedures. The Marco company experts presented the latest products designed to support a new family member in the first moments of their lives. One of such devices is the baby's pulse detector sweetBeat. Coupled with the eMyBaby® application makes it the market's most advanced device. The appliance can monitor your child's heartbeat as early as the 16th week of pregnancy until the child birth. The workshop participants also learned about the advantages of a feeding pillows and special wrap-up.
The 9th International Fair of Toys and Products for Mother and Child KIDS' TIME is held in Targi Kielce from 21 to 23 February 2018. The KIDS' TIME is Central & Eastern Europe's greatest event in child-care products and services business sector, ranked among the world's most prominent business events. KIDS' TIME is often referred to as the "market trend-setter". This is where new brands as well as products make their début. Every year' expo includes a number of industry meetings, workshops and conferences. Last year's expo brought together 474 companies from 17 countries, such as Belgium, China, Croatia, Czech Republic, Spain, the Netherlands, Lithuania, Latvia, Germany, Poland, Russia, Ukraine, the USA, Sweden, Slovakia, Turkey and the United Kingdom. Almost 7,000 expo visitors became familiar with what producers and distributors have to offer: prams and strollers, car seats, toys, furniture, textiles and baby products.
