The agenda of second day of the trade-show, included the technical workshop on "Technical Standards of the Chamber of the Natural Gas Industry".
The workshop brought together numerous participants interested in the topic. Their workshop objective was mainly coherent explanation and clarification of codification relating all business-stakeholders. Thus optimal level of security is ensured for all gas industry companies, providing that adequate technologies are utilised.
The workshops in Targi Kielce was chaired by Kazimierz Nowak, the Chairman of the Technical Standard Committee at the Chamber of the Natural Gas Industry. The 10-year legacy and achievements of Technical Standard Committee were also presented in the course of the meeting. .
The other speakers outlined today's and future amendments of the gas sector standards. The revised ST-IGG-1101: 2017 standard was discussed - Tadeusz Furmański lectured on this topic.
The ST-IGG:1901:2016 technical standard was also presented; "Butt-welded and electric-resistance welded connections control in polyethylene-made gas pipelines." Requirements and recommendations " were discussed by Maciej Szymura.
The guidelines intended to be used by investors, managers, owners and users responsible for gas installations control. The document control responsibilities delineation and control methodology were outlined by Zdzisław Gebhard.
Another speaker at the EXPO-GAS workshop was Rafal Fijołek. It was the presentation of the revised technical standards obligatory for transmission and distribution system operators. Construction companies for gas stations and gas grid connection-point units also found the information useful.
The workshop participants were given the opportunity to listen to e-learning training exemplified with one of the standards discussed earlier. The discussion followed the presentations session.
