'Robotics - the science of the future'  - this lecture was delivered by Doctor Hab. Engineer   Paweł Łaski, the  Kielce University of Technology  expert in the field of mechatronics and machine construction. The  Targi Kielce Congress Centre  was the presentation arena.

Doctor hab. Engineer  Paweł Łaska talked in his lecture about  robots which are becoming increasingly important for people, especially for elderly ones:  - Robotics, like it or not will become an inherent part of our lives. We can't rebel.  We are to complement our life accepts with robots.  They are supposed to help us in difficult, monotonous and arduous activities.

Robots accompany us every day but they are also used  in order to discover places where man has never reached before. Space is the perfect place to use technical capabilities of Mars rovers:  - We must have devices to explore these areas. Of course, student groups are not able to compete with NASA-like agencies.  Engineering education creates people who will be able to build such devices, vehicles, facilities in the future and this offers us hope to inhabit even Mars - said the Kielce University of Technology expert Doctor Engineer   Paweł Łaska PhD. Hab.

It is worth noting that Polish designers have more and more often used innovative technologies for machines constructions.   Light and extremely durable materials are also in the scope of their interest.

The meeting was also the opportunity to present   global arena achievements in the machine construction and accolades the Kielce University of Technology has won.  One of the first competitions with the Kielce University of Technology participation was the one Podzamcze Chęcińskie in 2014. It was the European edition, where representatives of the Świętokrzyskie region came second.  In parallel, the same competition was held in the United States, the Utah desert. In 2019, the Kielce University of Technology team came first, ahead of teams from all around the world.
