A meeting with Jef Verhaeren on the first day of AGROTECH
The European Network of Agricultural Journalists was founded in 2011 in Brussels by national association and guilds of agricultural journalists. It enjoys support of the European Commission and now its has its presence in 22 countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Holland, Ireland, Italy, Norway, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the UK and Hungary.
Kielce's AGROTECH is a perfect place to talk to Polish journalists about creating Poland's ENAJ chapter - Said Jef Verhaeren, head of the organization - Poland with its well-developed agriculture should be a member of our association.
ENAJ main activities are: information and experience exchange, networking among journalists in the Member States and creation of favourable conditions for young journalists development. The organization also invites two delegates from each country to attend the two annual meetings, one of which held in a member state.
Polish journalists' demonstrated interest in the information provided.
Poles do not act without thorough thinking - Jef Verhaeren summed up the meeting - they have to think the whole matter over, but we have made the first, important step.
