THE ARMAMENTS INSPECTORATE SIGNS AGREEMENTS FOR OPTOELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT SUPPLY FROM PCO SA

The first day of the International Defence Industry Exhibition in Kielce saw the Armaments Inspectorate placing its order with PCO for the supply of optoelectronic equipment for the Armed Forces

Orders are the best confirmation of the product quality.  The defence industry finds orders from the domestic Armed Forces the great compliment.  We see the decision to acquire the equipment as the confirmation of our competences and the Armed Forces of the Republic of Poland and the Ministry of National Defence’s trust.  Thus PGZ's position as the main partner for the Polish army modernization programs has been strongly confirmed - said Sebastian Chwałek, vice president  PGZ SA after signing the contracts.

The first contract stipulates delivery of 125 PCS-5M sights and 140  night vision binoculars  NPL-1M.  Shooters Night Vision  PCS-5M is a light telescopic sight used with small arms and anti-tank grenade launchers.  The NPL-1M night vision binoculars - a small, lightweight night vision device designed for terrain reconnaissance in limited visibility conditions and at night, used for greater distances observation.

The other contract stipulates delivery of 119 MU-3AM Night Vision Monocular and 527  MU-3ADM Miniaturized Night Vision Goggles  . MU-3AM monocular  is a modern night vision device designed for night observation.  Now it is one of the lightest devices of its type available on the market.  This equipment has already been used by the Polish Armed Forces.  A helmet mounted, dedicated to be used with  head harness and on-weapons mounted on the Picattina rail.   MU-3ADM goggles is an advanced passive night vision device  of compact and extremely lightweight construction. Its main features are reliability and robustness in field conditions as well as excellent detection, recognition and identification parameters.

The third contract 45 pieces  Thermal Imaging Sight SCT RUBIN delivery -  SCT Rubin sight has already become a part of the Polish Army's equipment. This device is used for observation and  small arms  fire in day and night, normal conditions and with limited visibility conditions ,A perfect choice for various climatic and atmospheric conditions.  The SCT sight can be equipped with an additional display for behind-obstacles observation.
