The KIELCE BIKE-EXPO fair 2011 will be even more attractive. And we mean that there will be much more to it than the market leaders from home and abroad who come to Kielce to present their products. The exhibition will be accompanied by the whole array of events, including, inter alia: Kielce getting on bikes bicycle parade which generated a&nbps;considerable interest among Kielce inhabitants last year. Over 400 cyclists set off from Plac Artystów (the Artists Square) set off in the direction Targi Kielce, they were all dressed in characteristic orange T-shirts. The stars of cycling led the group of cyclists: Anna Szafraniec – a&nbps;renown, prize-winning female mountain cyclist and the gold medal winner of the Polish cross-country championship, Marek Galiński, Olympian and the many-time champion of mountain bike races; and also Krystian Herba -, the participant of the TV programme "Got Talent” and Polish Trial Championship finalist as well as Henryk Sytner – Polish Radio Programme 3 speaker who gave the additional splendour to the event by his professional and apt comments.
Amateur Cycling Film Festival is targeted at all those who have shot the extreme cross-country bicycle rides featuring themselves or their colleagues.
However the greatest event will be the finals of most popular Polish Bike Marathon which is believed to bring to Kielce around 1000 participants. Hundreds of participants take part in bicycle competitions all over Poland. In 2011 they held their races in Wrocław, Wieluń, Łódź, Zawoja and Polanica Zdrój, Bielawie, Karpacz and Kielce. The great winner of all these events is to be announced in Kielce during the International Fair of Bicycle Industry.
