THE BUILD FROM STEEL SEMINAR IS HELD IN TARGI KIELCE

The Build of steel programme has been created in cooperation with the largest steel industry companies in Poland.
This is the response to the industry's expectations regarding the increase in the use of steel in construction. As the project leaders say: "Steel, as a material is characterized with high flexibility and, at the same time, durability. This thus deserves proper promotion".

The program of the whole day seminar held in Targi Kielce includes 6 presentations. 

The first focuses on the use of BIM technology in the steel bridges design - Marcin Cabała from Contrusoft.

 Doctor Hab. Engineer Wojciech Lorenc, a professor at the Wrocław University of Technology, started his speech on the design and implementation of complex structures in Poland and Europe with the words of encouragement for the construction industry: 
"We in Poland are now designing and building the cutting-edge complex facilities, the front-runners on the global scale, I do not want it to sound too hubris, but this is the truth. We have capabilities and ideas. These are put into practice. We do it in conjunction with foreign countries, but we build these cinstructions  in our country. "

The meeting also discussed  

• bridge objects from rolled beams - current status and development directions (Wojciech Ochojski, ArcelorMittal)
• bridges design according to the Polish Standard and Eurocodes (Wojciech Lorenc, PWr)
• arch elements prefabrication for bridge structures (Marek Jabłoński (Kersten Europe)
• selected aspects of anti-corrosion protection for steel bridges based on Jotun's experience (Jerzy Kosior, Jotun Polska)

This year the AUTOSTRADA POLSKA is accompanied with as many as 12 conferences, seminars and debates. AUTOSTRADA POLSKA is one of the most important events for road construction industry in Europe. This year's expo is held until 16 May.
