The China Foundry Association (CFA) will once join the METAL expo in the capacity of the guest of honour. CFA brings together over 1,300 members including foundry suppliers, foundry equipment manufacturers and foundry research institutes workers from all over China.

The China Foundry Association has once again been the guest of honour at the METAL Expo in Kielce. What benefits do the Chinese companies find in cooperation with one of Central and Eastern Europe's largest exhibition centres?

With the “Belt and Road” Initiative deepens, the cooperation and exchange in the foundry industry between China and Poland continue to strengthen in recent years.  Since 2012, China Foundry Association has participated in METAL Expo and successively achieved good results. China Foundry Association and Targi Kielce have continued to deepen cooperation.  Poland is the transportation and logistics hub connecting Eurasia along the “Belt and Road”.  As the intersection of “Amber Road” and “Silk Road”, we believe that China and Poland will embrace a bright future for cooperation.

In your opinion, what is the current situation of foundry industry in the world? What are the new technologies and ecological solutions implemented?

According to the statistics of global casting production, the world castings growth has slowed down. In fact, the lightweight requirements of downstream users, demand for clean production, and lack of labor are the major challenges facing the foundry industry. With the introduction of the concept of Industry 4.0, the intelligent development has integrated many new technologies and it is the direction for the sustainable development of foundry industry in the future.
