The Conference generated an avid interest

The conference was a discussion platform for specia guests:  Małgorzata Chmielewska ("Bread and Life" Community), Tomasz Terlikowski (Telewizja Republika), and Fr. Mirosław Tykfer (Catholic Guide Magazine).  The speakers presented their views on the sources Catholic Church crisis.

Sister Małgorzata Chmielewska shared gave the listeners an insight into her everyday work. Help for the homeless and the sick opens up for other people - explains the "Bread and life" Community superior - When you live with poor people you see that the world is divided. This division is the Church's problem - adds Sistter Chmielewska. Sister Małgorzata reminded us that we are "God's people" and that the Church should live in the community gathered around the Eucharist. Sister Chmielewska, with an ironic smile emphasized the fact that the crisis in the Church is not a recent problem - actually the crisi has continued since the original sin.

Tomasz Terlikowski shared some other thesis regarding the causes of problems in the Catholic structure. He pointed out that to the communication revolution that has been going on in today's modern as the main reason -  the image-focussed culture evokes emotions. The program director of the Republika Television emphasizes that emotions are now used as a weapon.  - The Church's biggest problem is the communication problem. How can we talk about the word in the culture that thrives upon images?  - Tomasz Terlikowski wonders.

The third speaker - Fr. Mirosław Tykfer who pointed out that whole Europe's culture is in crisis. The church is also a subject of transformation moderated by Pope Francis. - This is a kind of a positive crisis that we are not yet ready for.  Is this deconstruction not going too fast? - inquires Fr.  Tykfer. He pointed out to the institutionalization may seem to be the reason for the Church crisis. - The structure, laws and order have become too rigid, they are like a glass sphere - says Fr.  Tykfer.
