Kielce exhibition and congress centre received the prestigious award in the Business Centre Club members competition. The award was presented at the Grand Gala on January 21 in the Grand Theatre - National Opera in Warsaw
The Gala ceremony which concludes the XXVI edition of the Polish Business Leader competition was held for the twenty third time. Nominations and Golden Statuettes were bestowed at the function. Previous years' laureates who continue to maintain a leading market position were presented diamonds for the statuettes they had received before. Targi Kielce has been awarded the Polish Business Leader Diamond for the eleventh time On behalf of the exhibition and congress centre the Targi Kielce President of Board Andrzej Mochoń was presented the distinction.
A special BCC prize was also awarded - the Gold Statuette for the intensive development of Polish-German economic, trade and neighbourhood relations went to German Chancellor Mrs Angela Merkel. The gala was the occasion to recall that in October 2016 the Golden Statuette was presented to Pope Francis for his accentuation of the role of an entrepreneur who uses money as a tool that works for the benefit of other people.
Nearly two thousand guests attended this year's Gala - these were Poland's best entrepreneurs - members of the Business Centre Club as well as the government representatives, parliamentarians, culture and science milieus, clergy and well-known journalists.
