The exhibition devoted to the European Calendar

SACROEXPO creates the chance to see the collective calendar of all Christian religions

The exhibition devoted to the European Calendar

The calendar is supposed to remind about the common Christian roots of Europe as well as to be the evidence of this fact

The Diocese Museum in Kielce will present a very special calendar at the SACROEXPO fair – The European Calendar. The twelve pages of the calendar are illustrated with the photographs which depict the most beautiful works of sacral art from all over Europe; the holydays and solemnities of all Christian religions are marked on each page. The project which presents Catholic and also Orthodox and Protestant holydays and solemnities is supposed to remind about the common Christian roots of Europe as well as to become the visible evidence of this fact.

The exhibition featuring the twelve A2 (41x59cm) calendar cards has been arranged in the open air exhibition space of the Centre, in front of the F hall. The exhibition can be attended daily during the SACROEXPO fair.

The exhibition co-organisers are; Diocese Museum in Kielce, Kielce Diocese, the web-portal www.muzealnicy.pl and the SACROEXPO fair.
