The meeting was organised by the Local Europe Centre Association in cooperation with the Marshal's Office   with the objective to discuss budget plans at the local governments' level.  As the organizers stress, at the local-government level ideas come into being. Regions will also experience the changes in finance provision.

The meeting organised in Targi Kielce's Congress Centre has been organised in a crucial moment - May 2 is when the European Commission presents budget provision for the coming years. The conference is therefore a good reference point. This is also the source of information for those who plan regional undertakings which utilise EU funds.

Those gathered at the Congress Centre were addressed by Adam Jarubas. The Świętokrzyskie Marshal stressed the importance of today's meeting. - The Civic Dialogue in its recent form was initiated by the European Commission in 2012.  I am glad that this format makes it possible to discuss and learn about the further integration process vision and gain the information straight from the Director.  The meeting also offers the opportunity to present our assessment, needs and challenges that the regions face - emphasized the Świętokrzyskie Province Marshal.

- The European budget is like a big account we can all draw from, but we must remember that we all should make our contributions - Marc Lemaître reminded. - We face challenges to tackle - added the Director.

The meeting consists of the two parts - a discussion between entrepreneurs and local governments' officials with the Director General and the meeting with the Świętokrzyskie youth who prepared a special document.  Young present their proposals to contribute to the development strategy. The document presents the young people's needs.
