The gala opening of the XI REHMED-EXPO fair and the VI OPTEXPO fair and the IV International Scientific Congress “Let us help to live better”
The inaugural gala of the rehabilitation festival in Targi Kielce with the participation of the local authorities, the representatives of the world of science, associations and exhibitors
The three consecutive days in Targi Kielce will be marked by different aspects of rehabilitation – from 6th to 8th April almost 80 exhibitors from home and abroad will be waiting for the fair visitors. The exhibition stands showcase a whole diversity of products, appliances and services which are indispensable to help the handicapped people live better and to help those who need to be rehabilitated.
This year the opening ceremony of the fairs was held together with the official opening of the International Scientific Congress “Let us help to live better” which has brought together almost 300 participants.
The welcome speeches were delivered by the President of Board of Targi Kielce Andrzej Mochoń and by the prominent foreign scientists - Professor Christa Einspieler of the Medical University of Graz, the Rector of the Jan Kochanowski University of Humanities and Sciences in Kielce, Professor Zbigniew Śliwiński – the National Rehabilitation Consultant, Professor Tadeusz Gaździk – the head of REHMED-EXPO jury panel, the representatives of organisations and institutions; Krzysztof Słoń – the Director of Świętokrzyskie Division of The State Fund for Rehabilitation of People with Diseases, Zofia Wilczyńska – the Director of Świętokrzyskie Division of NFZ, doctor Marek Kiljański – the president of Polish Association of Physiotherapy and the Voivodeship Physiotherapy Consultant, and by Wojciech Kiebzak PhD in medicine – the chairperson of the Organisational Committee of International Scientific Congress “Let us help to live better”.
The medal in recognition of the work for education of therapists was awarded to Professor Regina Renz. The medal was presented by Professor Zbigniew Śliwiński.
