The greatest gala

It must be admitted, the E Hall looked really magnificent and the sophisticated stage design made an overwhelming impression on everybody. Everybody was of the opinion that a gala of such a spectacular scale had never been prepared in our region before. Especially for the needs of the Contest the most modern fair and exhibition hall in Poland was converted into a 2,5 thousand metre banquet hall.

The eminent guests represented the world of sport, but not only. Suffice to quote the names of Polish Olympians: Mirosław Sarna, Leszek Drogosz, Zbigniew Pacelt, Zbigniew Piątek, Tomasz Brożyna and Andrzej Kobylański, who works in Germany in Energie Cottbus. Michał Czaykowski, the head of Minister’s of Sport political cabinet was also present and presented the contest winners with prizes. Politicians of Świętokrzyskie, representatives of the city council and Voivodeship office were also here. We could also count on unfailing presence of a great friend of sports people, Reverend Bishop Marian Florczyk and also the chaplain of Kielce sport people Reverend Krzysztof Banasik. Representatives of the world of business and culture also honoured the gala with their presence.

Szymonersi band known from the TV Szymon Majewski Show entertained our guests. The band is composed of Polish musician who cooperate with music stars such as Bajm bandm Ryszard Rynkowski, Krzysztof Cugowski, Justyna Steczkowska, Renata Przemyk, Monika Brodka, Paweł Kukiz, or

In addistion we have to say that Targi Kielce was the strategic sponsor of the event. The culmination point of the Gala was the presentation of 59th edition of Sports Popularity Contest 2010 Świętokrzyskie Sport Stars results. The Contest was organised by Echo Dnia daily in cooperation with Polish Radio Kielce, TVP Kielce and the partners – Radio Plus Radio Fama nad TV Nowa Kielce.
