The contest was dedicated to all possible areas of design; furniture, lighting, things and accessories used every day, landscape architecture items, gadgets, toys, packaging and visual communication. This competition provided people with a wonderful pretext to make their imagination work, to break out of the old habits through which the world and the things which exist in it are perceived. This was also the possibility to use the creation act in order to rationalise and economise on production; but first and foremost it was an irreplaceable satisfaction driven from your inventiveness, using your wits to create a brand new thing out of existing ones.
