THE JUBILEE EDITION OF THE SOLAR+ FORUM

According to statistics, the previous year promises to be record-breaking one in terms of photovoltaic micro-installations connections to power grids. Although the information is still fragmentary, the development of prosumer systems is the flavour of the month news.

With the growing interest in photovoltaic installations, the components prices are falling sharply.  The costs of PERC solar modules have decreased by up to 30%. 2018 saw the end of the "price agreement" in the European Union which had been in place for five years. This regulation imposed restrictions on imports of Chinese solar modules. This made it impossible to reduce the prices to levels accepted globally.  

Is the prosumers revolution round the corner?

Thanks to the  Energy Plus programme, 2019 promises to be a consumer-focussed year.   The government has announced Poland will develop the law that allows to generate electricity for one’s own needs.  The legislator plans to abolish legal barriers which make it hard to install renewable energy sources. The scheme stipulates the development of loans and credits system supporting RES purchase and installation.  The necessary legislative changes and financial instruments will also be introduced.

Solar + Forum will be held in Targi Kielce as a part of the ENEX / ENEX New Energy.

 The event will be accompanied with the Energy One-Stop-Shop, the Heat Pump Festival, Installer of the Year Competition and " Best Practices in Best Hands”.
