The 21st edition of the International Defence Exhibition is held in Kielce from 2nd to 5th September 2013. Not only is the MSPO the showcase for the latest achievements in the defence sector, but also for advanced logistics solutions and system which serve the purpose of safety-provision and rescue services. A few hundred exhibitors, including over 100 foreign from 29 countries companies have confirmed their presence at the 21st International Defence Industry Exhibition MSPO; thus Targi Kielce will be hosting exhibitors from such countries as Turkey, Norway, the USA, France or Germany.
The expo will feature a whole array of novelties, including the multi-task AW 149 helicopter by PZL-Świdnik S.A.; a part of the AgustaWestland Group. The machine has been designed for remote control in order for it to autonomous when performing in a mission. The exhibition guests will also have a chance to see the Module-Based Fire Arms System MSBS 5,56 mm, still in the R&D phase in addition to the 9mm machine guns PM-06 and PM-98, as well as the command support systems which have been designed, devised and developed by Bumar Electronics – OP-NET - these can be used as information integration and exchange system for the new, national Air Defence System.
The Expo will also be the showcase for the elements of the Polish-French “Shield of Poland” – the fruit of cooperation between the Bumar Group, Przemysłowy Instytut Telekomunikacji (The Industrial ICT Institute), CNPEP Radwar and the European, multi-national missile corporation MBDA. The system has been designed to counter attack and combat air targets at different altitudes. The system is to become a part of European security system as well as to comprise a variety of air defence systems which are compatible with the Integrated NATO Air Defence System.
