THE MINISTER OF AGRICULTURE AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT PRESENTS HIS ACCOLADES AT AGROTECH

The Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Award  recognises people, organizations, businesses that contribute to Polish agriculture development and its positive image promote at home and abroad.  The award will be awarded in two categories - "Personality" and "Polish company's success story".  A special five-member prize chapter, appointed by the Minister for consecutive years' editions will nominate companies and people to be assessed as a part of the competition.  Then, from among the nominees the Minister – Chairman of the Chapter will nominate the winners in each category, one in each of the two.

The Polish agriculture personality

In the "Personality" category, agricultural institutions and organizations may submit their proposals.  Each institution can submit one candidate only.  The prize is awarded to a citizen of the Republic of Poland; a representative of scientific milieus, media, non-governmental organisations. A nominee's attitude, commitment, contribution towards Polish agriculture development is regarded exquisite.

Polish agricultural company's success story

In the "Polish Company's Success Story" category – candidates can register for the competition themselves. The prize is awarded to a Polish capital company which runs its business activities in the Republic of Poland.  An enterprise should be able to demonstrate that all or a number of the following evaluation criteria have been met: commercial success, diversification and innovations, sustainability and environmental awareness, support to local entrepreneurship / communities, involvement in local market development.

The first winners of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development's Award will meet be presented at the gala ceremony of 2018's AGROTECH – the International Fair of Agricultural Techniques  in Targi Kielce.
