The second day of the MSPO's programme included the conference on the Technical Modernisation of the Republic of the Poland's Armed Forces
Bartosz Kownacki, Secretary of State in the Ministry of National Defence opened the conference and launched the discussion panel. The conference is one of the communication elements between the Ministry and the defense industry. The meeting organised by MOD's Armament Policy Department was held within the framework of Kielce defence exhibition.
Deputy Minister of National Defence Bartosz Kownacki in his opening speech informed that on 15 September the revised draft plan of technical modernization of the armed forces for the years 2017-2019 will be announced. The acting Director of the Armament Policy Department at the Ministry of National Defence, Colonel Karol Dymanowski provided a thorough introduction into the concept of the "National Armaments Policy". The priority tasks for the Polish Armed Forces technical modernization for the years 2017-2019 were presented by the acting Chief of the Assets Planning Department of the General Staff of the Polish Armed Forces, Col. Krzysztof Zielski. The conference also discussed the "Opportunities for the Polish Armaments Group involvement in the implementation of the priority tasks in the field of Armed Forces technical modernization" and "Offset commitments to strengthen Polish defense industry capacity".
