The European Education Forum - New Technologies & Innovations in Education accompanied with the Expo of Technologies & Equipment for Education commences soon. On 23 qnd 24 November Targi Kielce event brings together representatives of Polish education milieus
The national competition to win the "Master of Modern Education'S Laurels" is gaining the momentum. There two stages to the competition have now been completed: initial competition-runners indication and nominations.
As a result of the II stage there have been 84 nominations in the following categories:
TheVoivodships represented in the competiion are: Kujawsko-Pomorskie, Lubuskie, Małopolskie, Mazowieckie, Opolskie, Podkarpackie, Podlaskie, Pomorskie, Śląskie, Świętokrzyskie, Wielkopolskie, Zachodniopomorskie, Dolnośląskie.
The national competition "Master of Modern Education's Laurels" laureate will be indictaed by the Jury Panel. The European Education Forum - New Technologies & Innovations in Education accompanied with the Expo of Technologies & Equipment for Education will be the presentation stage for the winners of the competition.
This is the first-time, nationwide event of this kind.
- The event is part of the efforts of the Ministry of Education to digitize schools and educational establishments as well as to introduce changes into the new core curriculum for general education – stressed Piotr Gajewski, the Director of the Department of Information and Promotion of the Ministry of National Education in the letter which conforms that the honorary patronage of the Ministry of National Education has been granted for the event. - The new core curriculum emphasizes the importance of innovativeness related elements when working with student and in teamwork. We have also emphasized that the school is to create favourable conditions for students to acquire the knowledge and skills needed to solve problems using IT-based methods and techniques. This includes logical and algorithmic thinking, promotion and use of computer applications -added.
