Final preparations in Targi Kielce exhibition pavilions before the launch of a record-breaking pigeon, small live-stock and decorative birds exhibition
A record-braking National Exhibition of Young Pigeons and the 42nd District Exhibition of Carrier Pigeons has tripled the number of exhibitors when compared with the last year’s event; 6,500 most beautiful birds and 561 exhibitors occupy the exhibition space of 5 pavilions inviting the trade fair visitors to come to Targi Kielce in order to admire the animals put on display. The Kielce exhibition is also associated with intense contest emotions – the jury panel is composed of 70 experts and each of them has to assess as many as 100 exhibits which have been diligently prepared for this presentation.
It took all night to settle in the pigeons – a few tractor – trailers brought the presentation cages in addition to the food for pigeons, chickens, rabbits and poultry.
It is impossible to quote al the names of pigeon breeds as there as many as 300 of them. The most beautiful birds have arrived to Kielce form all over Poland as well as from Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Hungary – and in the exhibition halls there were 12,000 exhibition stances waiting for the birds.
Trade markets of pedigree pigeon and carrier pigeons will be held on Saturday and Sunday in two of the exhibition pavilions.
The Young Pigeon Exhibition is accompanied by the European Career Contest – the royal pigeon breed, the exhibition of career pigeons will also feature the presentation of Polish careers.
