Targi Kielce was the stage for the ceremony - 26 new vehicles and boats co-financed by local governments were made available for the Świętokrzyskie police. The cars will be used by prevention and traffic departments officers. The water patrols were also equipped with new gear. These new equipment is designed to improve safety and help those in need
The ceremony was attended by, the Police officers from the Provincial Police Headquarters in Kielce, headed by inspector Paweł Dzierżak, the Municipal Police Headquarters in Kielce and the District Police Headquarters of the Świętokrzyskie garrison’s management teams. The Deputy of Świętokrzyskie Governor Bartłomiej Dorywalski, the Marshal of the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship Andrzej Bętkowski, the Deputy District Prosecutor in Kielce - Ewa Nowak and the representatives of local governments, as well as the Provincial Police chaplain in Kielce - Lieutenant Colonel Grzegorz Kamiński were also present at the ceremony.
A meeting was then held in the Targi Kielce conference room. The meeting was also the occasion to discuss the police officers’ performance. Acting Provincial Police Commander in Kielce inspector Paweł Dzierżak welcomed all guests participating in the event. A film summarizing the past year’s performance was also presented. Inspector Paweł Dzierżak discussed the Świętokrzyskie police officers’ activities designed to improve the security in the region. He also stressed the successes in this matter. and also referred to future plans including reactivation of police stations in the Świętokrzyskie Province.
