The steel “harp” suspended above Targi Kielce at the level of almost 60 metres

A special 7- axial crane with the crane jib of almost 70 metres and the capacity of 400 tons was required to put on the crowning element of the Congress Centre’s look on tower.

Only such a gigantic crane was capable of hoisting a few dozen ton construction up to the spire’s top. The open steel construction if informally called “a harp”; this one has been decorated with a red ball of 3 metres in diameter which weights as much as 300 kilograms. The ball has been suspended at the level of almost 60 metres above the ground; it can be seen from a long distance and thus stands the chance to become the Targi Kielce’s symbol. A smaller verion of it is to be found over the entry terminal.

The Congress Centre construction is one of the Targi Kielce’s infrastructure expansion. Two modern exhibition halls and the entry terminal equipped with a digital system for exhibitor and visitor registration have already been put into operation.

The Congress Centre owing to whole series of non-standard solutions will offer a diversity of uses. It is able to accommodate as many as 1000 people. The Centre will also be equipped wit the underground car park lot. The 57 metre tall look on tower with a conference-banquet room is one of the Centre’s features. The expansion plans also encompass the construction of a multi-level car park equipped with space availability system; the new facility is to accommodate 500 vehicles, as well as the west side entry terminal. The 170 million PLN net worth modernisation is the largest investment in the Targi Kielce’s history.
