The opening function of the REHMED-PLUS trade fair was attended by the representatives of regional, voivodeship and municipal authorities as well as the delegates representing health service organisations and institutions, including Wojciech Kiebzak PhD MD – the member of the Executive Board of Polish Confederation of Physical Therapy, the Voivodeship Consultant for Physiotherapy; Mr Marek Wiecheć – President of Swietokrzyskie Board of the confederation, Mrs Bogumiła Kowalczyk-Sroka PhD MD– the Voivodeship Nursing Consultant; and Mrs Zofia Małas – the president of the Regional Board of Nurses and Midwives.
Mrs Bożentyna Pałka-Koruba, the Swietokrzyskie Voivode upon the official opening of the trade fair said: “This trade fair is much more than the exhibition; this is first and foremost the meeting designed to integrate all the branches and sector which work for the benefit of other people. This is the place to exchange experiences and to discuss the ways and tools which can be used to provide comfortable, proper and meaningful life for the people who suffer from disability. This is also the important place for all medicinal milieus”.
There is a demand for this kind of trade fairs; this has been demonstrated by a large number of trade fair visitors who have attended its consecutive editions. REHMED is a very important event; sometimes it is the only place where the disabled can become familiar with the vast offer of rehabilitation equipment, the latest therapeutic and rehabilitation developments and all other medical novelties and latest discoveries.
The REHMED-PLUS trade fair lasts three days, until Saturday, 14th April.
