THE RESCUE VEHICLE USERS

Is car sharing is the big cities' flavour of the month? Or perhaps this is long-awaited service of the future? These and other questions were asked at the "Parking problems in urbanised areas" conference held on the second day of International Exhibition of Parking Technology EUROPARKING. The possibilities provided with this new mobility form were presented by representatives of the "Polska Parkuje [Polish Parking]" foundation.

 Carsharing - a service which consists in the making vehicles available against time-calculated fees. Vehicles can be rented and returned in various parts of the city. Whenever the network is extensive enough, car-sharing may become an  alternative to regular car use. The solution is a complement to regular public transport systems. Carsharing is to encourage vehicle sharing and thus to increasing parking places availability in city centres.
