Targi Kielce's Marketing Managers took part in the summer workshops organised by CENTREX - International Exhibition Statistics Union. The workshop was organised by the initiative of Mr Andrzej Mochoń PhD, Targi Kielce President of Board, the CENTREX President
- Centrex, until until has been mainly involved in expo statistics verification. However the association's potentials are much greater and should be therefore utilised - says Elżbieta Śniadecka, manager Targi Kielce's Marketing Projects Team who also participated in summer CENTREX workshops. - Such meetings are in high demand as they make it possible to develop new cooperation areas for trade fair centres. We started with marketing however there will be many other topics to discuss - adds Mrs Śniadecka.
2016's Summer CENTREX Workshops were also attended by Targi Kielce. The session was held from 25 to 27 August in Hungary's Balaton. Communications strategy development for CENTREX based on the latest trends and best exhibition associations' practices was the meeting's main objective and the discussions' leitmotif.

The CENTREX workshops was attended by 12 people - representatives of expo centres and expo-related institutions - the CENTREX members. The participants are directly involved in marketing. There were also representatives of European trade-fair associations and experts in communication strategies and marketing. The group included representatives of Targi Kielce, Poznan International Fair, Expo Arad from Romania and Fair Brno.
The Summer CENTREX Workshops' moderator and keynote speaker was prof. Dr. Sinisa Zaric, a former, long-time president of Belgrade Fair, the dean of the Faculty of Economics at the University of Economics in Belgrade.

During the three-day training its participants had the opportunity to become familiar with the latest trends in exhibition industry's communication - this was exemplified with, inter alia, the Association of the German Trade Fair Industry AUMA. The meeting was held in the form of a workshop, therefore each participant had a space to share their best practices. A series of discussions were mainly focussed on prospering for ideas that would help associations and institutions to support fair-industry communication in internal relations as as well as in relation with their clients.
