The Innotech Central Economic Chamber (CIGIT) was founded by a group of entrepreneurs focused on new technologies based activities.  The Chamber  is the economic self-government's organization which associates entrepreneurs, mainly Świętokrzyskie province based companies. However according to the plan companies from the neighboring regions are to be involved. The Chamber's main objective is to represent its members as well as to shape and disseminate business ethics rules. Also support for entrepreneurship development and shaping cooperation with local governments and other organizations are the Chamber's essence. Now the Chamber brings together 55 members - entrepreneurs from a variety of industries.

- We do fully realise that there is the need for a strong economic self-government which fully reflects the needs of Polish companies. Thus we are open to all suggestions and proposals aimed to improve both mutual contacts and cooperation between the Chamber and the affiliated companies. We aim at continuous service level improvement - explains Wojciech Korona, the Chairman of Board at CIGIT.

The press conference held as a part of the Chamber's inauguration was also attended by Foreign Affairs Minister Grzegorz Schetyna, who was also present at Targi Kielce. - The Central Economic Chamber is a good example of joint actions.  With this type of ventures we can achieve more and we can more bravely reach for the EU funds. It is also important that the initiative enjoys the Swietokrzyskie regional government's support. Ministry of Foreign Affairs also promotes such initiatives abroad - at consulates, embassies and in numerous meetings. And we will continue to do so. Such ideas as the Kielce's Chamber make a great sense - said Minister Schetyna.

- The Chamber's inauguration is an important day, a new stage. This is a perfect demonstration of the need to act together.  The Central Economic Chamber  is a new partner in Świętokrzyskie economic development facilitation - added Kazimierz Kotowski, a board member of the Świętokrzyskie province's board.
