Today we have witnessed the grand-finale of the 2017's Young Agricultural Producers Olympics and the first day of Poland's largest and most popular agricultural - AGROTECH 2017.  The Management of Rural Youth Association  was the originator and the main initiator of the competition.

Although the competition was fierce and uncompromising and all finalists were high-level farming experts, Tomasz Musiał proved to be invincible.  Roman Bathelt was the competition runner-up, Łukasz Czech came third in the ranking.  The competition was worth the efforts - the three winners won really valuable prizes in addition for prestige.

About 1,000 young agricultural producers qualified to the competition.  Those who qualified for the 2017's Ursus Young Agricultural Producers Olympics finals had to come a long, three-stage journey before they were finally invited to Kielce-staged finals.

This leitmotif of year's 35th edition of the event - "Youth, innovativeness, competitiveness" was a perfect choice.  Young producers enrich their professional skills, expanded knowledge and experience and fuelled ambitions to develop and advance professional skills.  This serves systematic development of Polish agriculture and popularization of achievements.

The Competition Jury Panel comprised:  Krystyna Banas of the Agricultural Advisory Centre in Świętokrzyskie, Rafał Wiatrowski of the Agricultural Social Insurance Fund and the four representatives of the Krakow University of Agriculture:   Urszula Sadowska Phd,  Dariusz Kwaśniewski PhD. Eng. and  Dariusz Baran PhD. Eng.. The Jury Panel was chaired by  Urszula Malaga-Toboła PhD. Eng.

The Olympiad has been granted with the honorary patronage of:  Swietokrzyskie Voivodeship Marshal - Adam Jarubas,  Rector of the University of Agriculture in Krakow - professor  Włodzimierz Sady PhD Eng,  President of the National Council of Agricultural Chambers Wiktor Szmulewicz and the Chief Labour Inspector Roman Giedrojć.
