Toronto by night at Targi Kielce

Ryszard Styła, eminent jazz artist, itinerant guitarist (a nickname by which he calls himself), a composer touring across Europe, the USA, and Canada, added splendour to the award ceremony. His performance coincided with a release of his first DVD, which features his last year's concert at the Festival "Letters to Miles Davis. The artist has already produced 5 CD albums, in addition to numerous projects carried out jointly with Tomasz Stańko, Wojtek Belon, and others.

During the gala, 4 awards of distinction and an impressive number of 13 medals were presented in the "product" category. Awards and medals were also given for the best stand arrangement. In this field, in recognition of the effective combination of elegance and innovation in arranging exhibition stands, the awards went to 5 companies, while 2 companies were honoured with gold medals for the special setting and innovative style of their presentations. Chairpersons of the Jury admitted that the choice was difficult owing to the technological advancement and innovative solutions applied in all the products entered for the competition.

This year's fairs brought together almost 300 companies from 22 countries, including exhibitors from Iran, who participated in these events for the first time.
