Polish National Lumberjack Championship - for the first time in Targi Kielce

Lumberjacks from all over Poland will be meeting in Kielce on 14th and 15th September. The event programme includes tree felling competition, chain replacement in the saw, precise cutting.

30 contestants have been selected in the qualifying round; during the two-day Polish National Lumberjack Championship they will taking part in 5 competitions.

The championship will be given extra flavour owing to the Harvester dance – a presentation of a GEMO-FTS’ specialised forestry machine performing to the sounds of music. There will also be two other presentations. The first, organised by the Polish National Lumberjack Championship’s organiser – MAKITA Company features wood-carving demonstrations. The other is held by KRUS (Farmers' Social Security Fund) and PIP (National Labour Inspectorate) and focuses on safe wood processing techniques.

The State Forests - National Forest Holding’s Ambassador – a famous actor and the star of the Ranch TV series will be attending the event on Saturday, 14th September

The event which meets all the international standards laid by the International Association Logging Championships is organised by the State Forests - National Forest Holding’s Directorate and the Mieczysław Wierzbicki Forestry Entrepreneurs Association.

Targi Kielce is looking forwards to seeing you on 14th and 15th September. The multi-storey car park will be available for the expo guests – enter from Kongresowa Street and Wystawowa Street.
