Tourism Award goes into the hands of the Targi Kielce President

Special commendations – the “Charming Witch – A Friend to RTO” Statuettes have been presented for the first time in order to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Regional Tourist Organisation. The accolades have been presented to the entrepreneurs, representatives of the media, local government members as well as all other people who have substantially contributed to the region promotion. The Targi Kielce President of Board Andrzej Mochoń PhD is among the prize winners.

Special Honorary “Charming Witch” Awards have been also presented in four categories. The “Entrepreneur of the Region” category the special mention has been bestowed on Piotr Lichora, one of the initiators of the Bałtów Jurassic Park. The category “Local Government Members for the Region” category has been created to recognise innovativeness, creativity as well as the ability to understand the needs of the tourist sector openness to new ideas; this accolade has been presented to Adam Jarubas, Swietokrzyskie Voivodeship Marshal. The third category “The Region’s Good Spirit” recognises people who do not live or work in our region; this year’s award has been presented to Elżbieta Wyrwicz, the Deputy Director of the Ministry of Sport and Tourism. The fourth statuette in the “Artist for the Region” category was handed to Andrzej Piaseczny.
