TRANSEXPO in the service of public transport

The list of exhibitors of the 11th International Fair of Public Transport TRANSEXPO comprises the names of domestic and foreign market leaders. The echibition stands abound with for the new generation vehicles; not only do they guarantee top quality, maximum comfort for the users, but first and foremost they ensure passengers’ safety. 120 companies present their potentials at this year’s expo; there are representatices of Germany, Sweden, the Netherlands, Austria, Turkey, Spain, France, Belgium and Poland.

One of the speakers of the opening ceremony was Alain Flausch, Secretary General of UITP (International Association of Public Transport); Mr Flausch announced the plans to double participation of public transport in the life of the general public – Economic values as well as higher attractiveness are the basis for this campaign. This is mainly driven by innovation. Events such as TRANSEXPO are the showcase for cutting-edge solutions which support the objective realisation – stressed Secretary General.

The Kielce’s TRANSEXPO will also be the venue for the assembly of Polish members of Union Internationale des Transports Publics. UITP is the global network operating for the benefit of public transport operators and boards, producers and scientific institutions. It serves as a global cooperation platform used to develop business and exchange know-how. UITP is the world proponent of public transport and sustainable mobility; this is also the initiator of numerous business sector changes. Polish list of members comprises the names of the market leaders such as Warsaw, Poznan, Krakow or Piły operators, public transport authorities form Gdynia or Białystok and manufacturers such as Solaris, PESA or MEDCOM.
