Solaris has until now used the Solaris Vacanza 13 coaches as the basis for blood collection points. These used in Katowice were also based on the same coach. In 2007 the vehicle won a special distinction at TRANSEXPO – the International Expo organised by  Targi Kielce. The mobile ambulance is a great novelty in the manufacturer's portfolio. The buses’ interiors will be adapted to the needs of blood collection and storage. In addition to special chairs for blood collection, the buses will also include a doctor's office, outpatient-clinic equipment, a reception area and a small gastronomic section. Teh passenger-are will be air conditioned. The vehicles will be equipped with, inter alia blinds and external awnings as well as the LED technology lighting.

This is the first order of this type in the world. The vehicles be completed by the end of 2018.
