USA LEAD NATION EXHIBITION AT MSPO 2019

The F-35 jet fighter model, Chinook helicopter, American aircraft flying over the expo centre on the first expo day and a member of the Apollo 15 mission crew as US Lead Nation Exhibition featured guest. This year's International Defence Industry Exhibition promises to be spectacular

The International Defence Industry Exhibition boasts many-year tradition of Lead Nations' Exhibitions. These Exhibitions have been a part of the Expo since 2004. Until now 13 countries have presented their military potentials: Germany, Norway, France, Israel, Turkey, the USA, Sweden, the V4 Member Countries, Great Britain, Italy and South Korea.

The United States of America is the MSPO lead nation - The US Lead Nation Exhibition uses 1,500 sq m, 65 companies US companies will showcase here - this is the largest American representation in the history of the MSPO. Colonel Alfred Merrill Worden is the US Exhibition’s featured guest. Worden is the American astronaut, the United States Air Force colonel, one of the Apollo 15 mission crew.  In addition to MSPO, Colonel will be meeting Kielce youth. The hit of this year's US Lead Nation Exhibition is the F-35 fighter model. F-35 jet fighters are of interest for the Polish government. The first day of the exhibition features a spectacular flight of American army aircraft over the expo grounds.  In the sky above the expo centre its guests will be able to see: F-15 fighters, the most modern multi-purpose marine aircraft - Boeing P-8 Poseidon.  The sky show will be complemented with the KC-135 tanker used for airplane refuelling. The exhibition host os the US ambassador to Poland, Georgetta Mosbacher. The Americans have also prepared a surprise for military enthusiasts who will visit MSPO Open Day on 7 September.  Guests will have the chance to see  the American Abrams tank (M1A1) as well as Boeing Apache helicopters, Lockheed Martin Black Hawk and huge transport aircraft Chinook.
