The 15th Polish Football Association' "Safe stadium" Conference has launched

VOTING, PYROTECHNICS AND LEGAL REGULATIONS

The Targi Kielce-staged Safe Stadium brings together more than four hundred participants who represent sport milieus, football clubs and institutions responsible for sporting events safety assurance.

- The world is changing, yet sporting events safety issues will always remain very important - said Andrzej Mochoń PhD, Targi Kielce President of Board during the Conference opening ceremony just before the opening President Zbigniew Boniek and I remembered the good old days, the 70's I do hope that we will cooperate long enough so that today's conference  will also be used remembered the same way.

After the opening ceremony  the panel on policy,  strategy and security in relation to football matches organization began.The organisers had a great surprise for attendees. In addition to the moderator - Roman Kołtoń of Polsat and panelists: Zbigniew Boniek - the President of the Polish Football Association, Cezary Poplawski Deputy Chief of Police and Tomasz Półgrabski - President of PL.2012 + the discussion involved all the event guests. Before entering the hall the attendee were given a voting device - the moderator asked a question and suggested possible answers. The best answer was chosen by participants and results were instantly displayed on the screen.

The question  on central level football stadiums' safety (Polish première league and top and the second league) triggered the discussion. As many as 59.4% respondents opted for "rather safe", 33.3% "definitely safe". PZPN president Zbigniew Boniek agreed with the majority.

- If someone wants to go to a football match with his wife and a child, feel safe when taking part in sports event - I 100% guarantee safety - said President Boniek - If however one goes to a match with evil intentions, they look for negative excitement, they may actually create such an opportunity.

The panel discussion also focussed on football-milieus most topical issues such as pyrotechnics during matches as well as the laws on sports events organization.
