Water and sewage business sector specialists brought together in Kielce

The TIWS trade fair was formally opened by Swietokrzyskie Voivode Grzegorz Dziubek

The opening ceremony of the TIWS was attended by guests of honour representing the business sector and the municipal authorities. For the fifth time the Targi Kielce – one of the best Central and Eastern Europe’s trade fair and exhibition centres has brought together representatives of the water and sewage sector. This event has been organised for the water supply and sewage management business sector and has been primarily designed for the representatives of waterworks, sewage system companies and firms which deal in the water treatment infrastructure, sewage treatment as well as in the supply of specialised apparatuses, machines, appliances and materials and laboratory equipment. This year’s edition is the showcase for the products of almost seventy companies form Poland, Germany, Italy, Great Britain, Slovakia and Slovenia.

The TIWS fair encompasses the whole diversity of meetings dedicated for business insiders. The conference organised by the Discussion Forum of Polish Waterworks is devoted to cooperation of communes and water & sewage companies with private investors and communal spatial planning and real estate management in the context of water and sewage infrastructure expansion and maintenance. The second day programme encompasses the seminar on sewage sludge management practical aspects.

The Kielce Waterworks open door-day has become a traditional element of the exhibition. On the last day of the trade fair the guests and visitors have the possibility to take part in the tour over Sitkówka Sewage Treatment Facility. The open day is designed to disseminate knowledge on the facility expansion and modernisation financed with the support of European Union funds.
