The "Eastern Poland today and tomorrow" conference brings together at the same discussion table entrepreneurs who benefited from the EU 2007-2013 financial perspective funds for the macro-region development. Thus they were given the opportunity to join numerous missions and trade fairs outside Poland
- We face considerable difficulty in promoting Polish, strong brands. I have always wondered how to help Polish entrepreneurs who have great potentials to become Polish flagship brand - said Andrzej Mochoń, Targi Kielce President of the Management Board.
The discussions on Eastern Poland's potentials brought together representatives of Lubawa; the company which deals with fruit processing and NOTE; involved in super-hard metal processing industry, in addition to many other. They talked about changes in their businesses. There were many positive observation in with regards to development, increasing the number contracts, exports expansion and image development and promotion.
Targi Kielce is one of the Eastern Poland Development Operational Programme beneficiaries, with EU support Targi Kielce has expanded and modernized its infrastructure. Dr. Andrew Mochoń recalled the beginnings of the Kielce centre - We took from the example of foreign facilities, such as Herling expo and we realised that Kielce also can repeat the success story. Kielce enjoys a good location, ideas were just waiting for the right moment. And when the resources were made available. Targi Kielce Fairs was ready with its development concept.
